Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How much food should I feed my bulldog per day?
Just as nutritional needs vary from person to person, so do pet's. Most Best4bulls pet foods include a feeding guide to help you determine the correct daily amount of food for your dog. However, this amount is intended as a guide only. It's important for your pet's health that their physical condition is checked regularly and the amount of food adjusted as needed.
How many times a day should I feed my bulldog?
Puppies and young dogs can be fed three times a day. Divide the total recommended daily amount by three.
Adult dogs can be fed twice a day. Divide the total recommended daily amount by two.
Is dried or fresh meat used in Best4bulls dog food?
Best4bulls uses meat in dried form, also referred to as "dehydrated" (meal form). Meat contains various nutrients, such as proteins, fats, and other nutrients. If meat contains a lot of moisture, this results in a high moisture content in the food. Some food manufacturers use chicken as a fresh product (with a moisture content of 70%). However, moisture does not provide important nutrients such as proteins and largely evaporates during the preparation and drying process of the dried food. To give you an idea: 1 kilogram of dried meat contains 950 grams of high-quality nutrients, while 1 kilogram of non-dried meat only provides 300 grams of nutrients.
